Kelmscott is a co-educational community school for pupils aged 11 to 17. All aspects of the school including ‘pupil achievement’, ‘behaviour’ and ‘quality of teaching’ were deemed to be very good at our last Ofsted inspection.

Kelmscott is a highly ambitious school in the heart of East London. Inclusion is at the very heart of all that we do. Waltham Forest (London Borough of Culture 2019) reaps the benefits of the character, diversity and cultures within our borough, the things we have in common and the things that make us different. Our school motto is ‘Putting Learning First’ something that we hold dear. We also have a yearly mantra which this year is ‘Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much, speak up speak out’. We hope this language gives you a good indication for what we value as a school. Colleagues at our school are happy and as a result we have low staff turnover.
