The successful candidate will have
responsibility for managing attendance; identifying and engaging with
vulnerable families, providing information to colleagues/external agencies to
improve school attendance. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and well
organised person also responsible for the SIMS database including inputting and
updating student information. Applicants should have excellent interpersonal
and IT skills; must be able to work as part of a team; communicating
effectively with children, parents, staff, governors and visitors and have the
ability to work independently. Previous
experience of working in a school attendance role would be advantageous.
The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term-time only). 8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 8am- 3.30pm Friday.
