Attendance Welfare Officer job summary

Tudor Grange Academy Worcester is seeking to appoint an Attendance Welfare Officer. The successful candidate will work with school staff, pupils, parents and carers to promote high levels of attendance and to improve punctuality.

have experience and understanding of the education or local authority system

have experience of working with young people of secondary school age particularly within deprived socio-economic areas

are compassionate and caring, resilient and determined

can communicate effectively and develop respectful and professional relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues

Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility regarding hours if required.

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.

Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
