Autism/SLD Class Teacher - Primary job summary
2 x SEND and Complex Needs Class Teacher
Pay Scale: Main Scale (Outer London) plus SEN 1 or SEN 2 (depending on experience)
Responsible to: Head of School

We are seeking for 2 SEND and Complex Needs Teachers to be part of the Hatchside School team.
Hatchside School’s ethos is based on the principles of Early Year practice, the aspiration is for Hatchside School to become a role model to schools and settings for children with SEND and become known as a beacon of good practice.
Hatchside School is looking to appoint an adaptable, motivated and enthusiastic Teachers to teach Early Years Foundation Stage/ Key Stage 1 pupils.
We welcome applications from those with some experience in this area of work or those wishing to develop a career in a special school environment. should be able to demonstrate currency of knowledge in terms of learning and teaching pedagogy and SEND (or the willingness to engage in updating this when in post).
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who:
• Holds QTS
• is self-motivated, resilient and flexible
• has a secure knowledge and understanding of curriculums – including KS1 National Curriculum and/or EYFS framework requirements and the implications for pupils with disabilities and learning difficulties
• is an outstanding practitioner who can deliver high quality of education for all pupils at school
• can build effective, positive relationships and work collaboratively with all stakeholders including parents/carers, therapy teams and other specialist services to support the development of the pupils and ensure the best outcomes possible
• enjoys a challenge and wants to be part of team of an exciting journey in setting up a new school
