The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset and including Axminster Community Primary in East Devon. The school is located in the market town of Axminster in East Devon, close to the Blackdown Hills and the Jurassic Coast and has close transport links with the A35. Axminster Primary is an inclusive and nurturing community primary school for children aged 2-11 years. We offer a high-quality, engaging curriculum enhanced by a range of stimulating and enriching experiences.

The role is fixed term to cover a maternity. The successful candidate must have a Level 3 certification in Early Years.

The role will require you to:

• provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting.
• work as part of a team, alongside the EYFS Leaders, in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.

• build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.
