We have a range of roles available for teaching assistants in some of the best special schools and primary schools across South Yorkshire, from Nursery to Further Education.
Our Opportunity
We are searching for confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in the education sector. We have opportunities for part time and full-time employees which can lead to long-term roles with the potential to become permanent after 6 months
Perhaps you are a future aspiring teacher, a recent graduate or looking to enter the education sector. You may be an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to work flexibly and have the opportunity to work across multiple locations to challenge and develop your practice.
• Relevant experience supporting children will be taken into consideration
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is ideal, but not essential
• Have a passion for working with children with SEND
• Resilience, patience, creativity and empathy
As a bank Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include supervising activities in the classroom and supporting pupils who need learning support, under the leadership of a qualified teacher. Additionally, you may be required to support pupils outside the classroom in 1:1s or focus group sessions, or supervise lunch or break duty.
