This is an exciting time to join our Trust. Accordia Academies Trust includes Barrs Court School and The Beacon College. a specialist 16-19 College for students with SEND and complex learning needs. Barrs Court School is a school for pupils aged 11 to 19 with severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities, including Autism. At present we have 120 students on roll. In November 2023 Barrs Court was graded as Outstanding. Due to the further growth of our school we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative teacher, who is a passionate advocate for SEND students. You will provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging your students to reach their potential. You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future. As part of our team you will be building on the outstanding work that is already in place to enable and empower our pupils and students to be prepared for adulthood in today’s society.
