Before and After School Club Manager job summary

Due to popular demand we are now looking to expand our team so we can accommodate more children. We are looking for candidates who are fun, enthusiastic, energetic and caring to join our team.

We are looking for a for a Little Gems Manager who will work Monday - Friday. Breakfast Club (7:30-9:00am) & After School (3:00-6:15pm)

Main Areas of Responsibility

Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.

To make Little Gems a fun and safe place where children want to be,

To ensure the smooth and reliable operation of Little Gems.

Planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.

Providing comprehensive care for the children including delivering them safely to parents/carers.

Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.

Administering first aid where necessary.

Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.

Providing support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers.

Administration and record keeping, including ordering and purchasing, working within an agreed budget

Ensuring staffing meets recommended ratios and organising staffing cover is needed

Supporting the School

To attend relevant in service training: Emergency First Aid, Safeguarding and Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene Training

To be aware of school procedures and follow school policy

To be aware of confidentiality issues linked to home / pupil/ teacher/ school work and to keep confidences appropriately
