What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Before and After School Club Playworker at Moorings Way Infant School to assist with the daily management of the Before and After School Club providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.The successful candidate will be expected to engage with our children in exciting and imaginative activities. You will assist pupils with refreshments, ensuring that hygiene, and health and safety standards are met.

Working hours:8 - 9am and 15.15 - 16.15pm Monday - Friday

  • Undertake the daily supervision of the Before / After School Club.
  • Implement activities to ensure the National Standards and out of school play values are met at all times.
  • Maintain the Before / After School Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the children and staff, taking responsibility for all Health and Safety matters.
  • You will have high levels of motivation, energy and commitment with the ability to work to build positive relationships with students and their parents/carers.
