Behaviour and Inclusion Officer job summary

St. Michael's C of E High School in Crosby is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced behaviour and inclusion officer to support our children to flourish spiritually, academically and personally. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that those students who have failed to meet our high expectations are challenged and supported to develop and improve their behaviour, enabling them to be successful during their time at the school.

To be successful in this role you will need to be firm and fair, and able to maintain high expectations for all students, supporting them to meet those high expectations; You will need to hold unconditional positive regard for the students and families that you serve. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and reviewing a number of behaviour intervention strategies, including the development and management of the focus centre, our internal exclusion space.
