What skills and experience we're looking for
Education and qualification
- GCSE C grade or above or equivalent qualification in literacy and numeracy
- Relevant NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Sufficient experience as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant or in a Behaviour/Inclusion setting
- Experience working with young people with a range of special educational needs
- Experience of working with young people of relevant age
Skills and abilities
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare, safety and education of children
- Some experience with conflict resolution or de-escalation strategies in an educational setting
