Behaviour Lead Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teaching assistant to take a lead on behaviour improvement at Malmesbury Park Primary Academy.
The role will involve working as part of the support staff team at Malmesbury Park Primary Academy to provide high quality intervention work, dealing with challenging behaviour, and working with children to overcome any underlying issues that cause difficult behaviour. Part of the role will entail developing strong relationships with parents, carers and children alike.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, friendly and outgoing. They will have an enthusiasm for working with children, particularly those with complex behavioural challenges. They will have a talent for engaging with sometimes complex children, encouraging social interaction, developing independence, self-esteem and encouraging all individuals to achieve their goals.
The right person will be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and understanding complex social and emotional issues. They will be resilient, be able to modify their communication for all kinds of situations and show experience of working with challenging children.

Malmesbury Park is a highly popular academy, with a warm, caring, friendly ethos.
