Behaviour Mentor job summary
East Leake Academy would like to appoint a Behaviour Mentor with experience of carrying out a range of learning development, student welfare and administrative tasks to support students and teaching staff in the Academy and within the community. We would welcome applications from a teaching assistant with behavioural experience or a qualified teacher with behavioural experience looking to move roles.
Job title: Behaviour Mentor
Salary: Grade 5, actual salary £19,100 - £21,700 per annum
Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time only

You would work under the guidance of senior and teaching staff, working with KS3 / KS4 students and be required to follow an agreed system of supervision, and implement agreed work programmes to individuals and small groups. The role will also involve planning, preparing and managing resources. The primary focus will be to maintain good order by creating a positive learning environment to support the students and keep them on task and achieving.
