What skills and experience we're looking for

We are actively seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Alternative Provision Team.

Working under guidance, you will implement work programmes for individuals/groups, which could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, including behaviour support. You willprovide specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and have additional educational needs as well asprovidingin class support for all students as directed.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to build strong positive relationships with students
  • Is resilient and has experience in providing educational support with strong discipline
  • Has enthusiasm, presence and authority with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed
  • Is able to support students who exhibit challenging behaviour
  • Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive
