Behaviour Support Mentor
Grade 7 NJC 12 - 17 (£18,948 to £20,920 – pay review pending)
Permanent, 37 hours a week, term time plus two PD Days

We are looking to appoint an innovative, well-motivated individual to join our hardworking and committed team.

Your key role will be to provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff, addressing the needs of children who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. You will work with a range of students, but give priority to those who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages such as children with:

• Special or medical needs
• Challenging behaviour
• A statement of special educational needs

We are looking for individuals who can work on their own initiative to get things done, who are passionate about children and their well-being, and who can communicate well with students, parents and other adults.

Previous experience of working with secondary school age children is essential.
