- Full time: We are looking to employ a Behaviour Support Officer to join our vibrant, motivated team. This is a permanent contract based on 5 days a week (37 hours per week). This is a Term time + 1 week (INSET days) basis contract starting ASAP.

What skills and experience we're looking for
The Behaviour Support Officer will work directly with pupils to provide one to one or group support when needed. This will include planned sessions as well as responding to situations as they arise. The Behaviour Support Officer is responsible for implementing the Behaviour Policy, contributing and promoting a positive and considerate behaviour culture that is understood and adhered to by the whole school community.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- To organise and administer Student Support Centre liaising with staff to ensure pupils have work;
- Maximise resources and strategies to ensure that pupils behavioural and emotional needs are being met and they are able to engage in learning effectively.
- To support other areas of the Pastoral team
- Support the Pastoral Team with other provisions such as the daily detention systems as requested by SLT line manager.
