Post Title: Behaviour Unit Manager

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Band 2 - £26,500 - £28,500 per annum (FTE)

£23,931 - £25,737 per annum (Actual salary)

Pro rata Contract: Term Time Only (including inset) plus 2 weeks - 41 weeks

Responsible to: Associate Assistant Principal

Conditions of Service: United Learning Contract

Salford City Academy have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic pastoral team as a Behaviour Unit (Reflect) Manager.

We are seeking to appoint a Reflect Manager to work as part of the Inclusion Team and to lead and manage the operation of Reflect.

Key tasks will include:


  • Planning for and ensure that Reflect is supervised at all times in a consistent manner which supports students.
  • Assisting in the support of children who display challenging behaviour and to work both as part of a team and independently to support the aims of the Inclusion Team.
  • Running bespoke intervention sessions to small groups of students to support their engagement in school and demonstrate the Academy’s Values

The successful candidate will have significant and successful experience of working with children with challenging behaviour.
