Behavioural Support Officer job summary

We seek to appoint a Behavioural Support Officer to join our support staff team at Manor Church of England Academy. This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week on a term time only basis.

We are blessed to have state of the art facilities and supportive families, however our greatest assets are the over 1,100 young people enrolled with us  and the 140 highly gifted teaching and support staff who form our community. Our aim is that all students and staff 'serve others, grow together and live life to the full'. 

 The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance and Behaviour Policy and improving the attendance and behaviour of identified students who attendance and/or behaviour is a barrier to their performance. Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance and behaviour data.
