Biology Lead Teacher

Plus TLR2B £5,348.04 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic,
well-qualified and highly motivated individual to join our successful and
supportive science department and take responsibility for leading, managing and
developing the Biology curriculum. The ability to teach across the full age and
ability range is essential and to support extra-curricular, applications are
welcome from experienced teachers.
The ideal candidate will:
•
Ensure provision of an appropriately broad,
balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the
curriculum area, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Governing Body and Headteacher of the school.
•
Act as a curriculum lead and be responsible for
leading, managing and developing this area.
•
Lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice
of others.
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a manager within the curriculum area and as a form tutor.
• Impact on the educational progress of students beyond your assigned classes.
