A well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Biology is required at this very successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in the centre of Reading. Kendrick School is a centre of academic excellence with a track record of high performance and achievement. Kendrick School is an expanding school and this is an exciting time to be joining the school with opportunities for professional development within the department and the school as a whole. Biology is a thriving subject at Kendrick School with a very high uptake at A Level and many students go on to study Biology related subjects at University.
The successful applicant needs to be able to teach Biology throughout the school including A Level and Science at KS3 and the ability to teach a second discipline of Science would be an advantage.
The position would suit a more experienced or a recently qualified teacher who is able to impart passion and enthusiasm for the subject to highly motivated, creative and engaging students. Kendrick School has an excellent track record of developing NQTs and the successful candidate would be joining a supportive and experienced department.
