Mrs Ethelston's - Breakfast and After School Club Workers job summary

The First Federation Trust are seeking to appoint for 3 roles in Breakfast Club and After School Club at Mrs Ethelston's CE Primary Academy..

We are looking for a warm and caring individuals to support our wrap around care facility at our school. The key purpose of the job is to:

  • Safeguard children during the breakfast/after school sessions
  • Preparing and assisting with activities for the children on site
  • Supervising any relevant meals/snacks required

You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
  • Have effective communication skills;
  • Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines;
  • Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies

You would be working alongside a wonderful team of supportive staff with strong links through the Multi Academy Trust.

The position/s can be combined or separated.

Breakfast Club Worker

1hr per day 8.00-9.00am; 5 days per week; term time only

B3 £11.79 per hour (actual salary £2,575)

After School Club Worker

2 hours per day 3.30-5.30pm; 5 days a week; term time only

B3 £11.79 per hour (actual salary £5,150)

After School Club Leader

2 hours per day 3.30-5.30pm; 5 days a week; term time only

C5 £12.18 per hour (actual salary £5,323)

All positions fixed term until 31 August 2025.
