About the Role

Position: Breakfast Club Assistant

Location: St. Peter’s Smithills Dean CE Primary School, Limefield Road, Bolton, BL1 6LA

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Salary: NJC 04 – NJC 06 (£24,404 - £25,183 per annum, pro rata)

Start Date: 22nd April 2025

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating an engaging and safe environment where children can enjoy breakfast and social activities to prepare for the school day ahead. You’ll work closely with the school staff, ensuring a seamless transition between school and club activities while fostering strong connections with children, parents, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide engaging play opportunities in a safe, friendly environment.

Manage club resources, daily operations, and ensure compliance with school policies.

Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.

Collaborate with the school’s team to establish a common ethos and ensure continuity between school and club activities.

Foster positive relationships with parents, children, and the community.
