Breakfast Club Lead job summary
Bournville Village Primary School is a lively, forward-thinking three-form entry primary school in South Birmingham. We are seeking to appoint a Breakfast Club Lead to oversee the daily operation and continued development of our well-established Breakfast Club provision.
Our current postholder is retiring after many years of dedicated service, and we are looking for someone who will build on this strong foundation while helping to ensure the provision remains organised, sustainable and an attractive offer for our families.
This is a key role in ensuring our children begin their school day in a safe, calm and welcoming environment.
We are looking to appoint someone who:Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
Recognises the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and well-supervised environment.
Is highly organised and confident managing registers, bookings and communication.
Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
Is proactive and takes pride in ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Is committed to maintaining a provision that is financially sustainable and responsive to the needs of our families.
Is reliable, punctual and able to take ownership of the role.
A relevant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
The Role Will Include:Leading the daily operation of Breakfast Club (7:30am-8:45am, Monday-Friday).
Acting as the main point of contact for administration queries, bookings and email communication.
Maintaining accurate registers and attendance records.
Managing food and resource ordering effectively and cost-efficiently.
Supporting the continued growth and development of the provision.
The additional 2.5 hours per week will be allocated for administration and may be worked flexibly by agreement.
