North Durham Academy seeks a dedicated and proactive Bridge Manager to support the Head of Inclusion in overseeing “The Bridge” a critical provision that ensures smooth reintegration for students returning to mainstream education. This role involves strategic implementation, operational management, and active mentorship to meet students’ academic, behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with year teams, teaching staff, and families to develop and implement pastoral support plans, contributing significantly to the Academy's goals for student development and behaviour management. This position demands a blend of strong communication, organisational skills, and experience in educational settings, ideally complemented by a background in safeguarding.
