Building Supervisor job summary
The successful candidate will be required to develop strong working relationships with children, staff, parents, local residents, contractors, SCC departments and visitors tot he school, and must have a genuine passion for maintaining the buildings and site as a safe secure and clean environment.
Duties include security of the premises, procurement of services, maintenance of fixtures and fittings, line management of the team and the cleaning staff and contractors, with the addition of some cleaning duties.
Successful candidates will have a good knowledge of building maintenance and preferably have some experience in this area (e.g. plumbing/carpentry skills). You will have a good awareness of health and safety regulations and be able to respond to emergencies effectively. Sound ICT skills and a willingness to undertake training when necessary is also essential.
