Bursar and Health & Safety Manager with Facilities Management job summary
About Us: Finch Woods Academy is a specialist co-education provision for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The academy is on a rapid improvement journey, having been deemed to be ‘Inadequate’ by Ofsted at its inspection in October 2023. Ofsted now view the school as on a journey to Good or better, and the role of Bursar is a key position, playing a crucial role in school improvement.
Key Requirements: In addition to the above, the post-holder will organise and take effective responsibility for Administration, Finance and Human Resources. The Bursar will also lead and manage a small team of administrative assistants and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the Local Advisory Board (Governors) Finance Committee.
