What skills and experience we're looking for

    • Planning and delivering structured, safe, and engaging Bushcraft courses to children between 8-14 years old.
    • Deliver a variety of outdoor activities which meet Health & Safety, legislative and Safeguarding standards, including but not limited to; shelter building, orienteering, fire making, and wilderness survival skills.
    • Work as part of a team to ensure children are engaged in Bushcraft activities.
    • Act as a role model to children; supervising and engaging with children at all times.
    • Ensuring all equipment is in suitable condition for sessions.
    • Maintain appropriate and accurate records.
  • Have bushcraft experience in an activity based environment.
  • Excellent motivation and communication skills with children.
  • Experience working with groups of young people.
  • Ability to be professional at all times while ensuring children are engaged and having fun.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in the activity or childcare industry.
  • Have a Paediatric First Aid certificate or other up-to-date first aid qualification.
