What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you helpful, resilient and have a positive outlook? If so, you may be the perfect fit for our current vacancy! We are seeking a Business Assistant to look after our wonderful Reception; greeting and supporting our Academy community and to also undertake tasks to support the business team as a whole. The existing members of the business team will offer plenty of support and guidance as well as a good sense of humour and great teamwork.

It is essential that the person undertaking this role is organised, proactive, and able to work flexibly. This role requires someone who is calm under pressure and has a ‘can do’, positive approach to work within what can be a very busy and pressured environment. Previous experience of working in a school office is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work: between 21 and 37 hours per week are on offer and negotiable.

At a minimum, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8am – 12:30pm and Friday 8am-4pm, any other hours are flexible and open to discussion. This is a term time position.

This position is fixed term until 31 August 2025 to cover maternity leave in the first instance, however could lead to further opportunities. Please note the end date could change pending notice from the employee on maternity leave.
