What skills and experience we're looking for

Responsibilities will include administration, health and safety, human resources, finance, procurement, facilities management, and ICT systems. The ideal candidate must:

  • be an excellent communicator
  • have an extensive range of clerical and IT skills
  • be able to motivate and support a dedicated team whilst driving improvement
  • have a good working knowledge of Local Authority finance systems
  • be a good negotiator
  • work accurately under pressure
  • manage a varied workload with a solution focused mindset

You will need to be dedicated to safeguarding, working proactively on your own initiative whilst being part of a wider team. The role reports to the governors and headteacher and a full list of responsibilities and accountabilities can be found in the job description.

Ash Lea school governors and leadership team are looking to recruit a skilled, creative, passionate and driven Business Manager with a commitment to delivering a high standard of professional business leadership and management to assist the school meet its educational aims and improve outcomes for children with SEND. This role is integral to the school and its continued pursuit of excellence.
