Business Manager job summary
Business Manager - Post is temporary for one year.
We are seeking to appoint a forward thinking Business Manager who can provide high quality strategic leadership to the school’s support functions. We are a GOOD 11-18 comprehensive school in Chichester with 1400 pupils on roll. Our Sixth Form is Ofsted Outstanding. We are proud to be a part of the TKAT Trust and within this role you will both work with, and be supported by the finance team in TKAT.
As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, you will have overall responsibility for the effective delivery of all financial and business operations including line management of the support staff. You will be proactive in managing systems, manage multiple projects and ensure the school is compliant with legislation, internal and TKAT Trust policies. Good communication skills will be a key feature of your daily work as you will be working across a number of teams within the school and across our Trust. Experience within education, whilst valuable, is not as critical to us as finding a candidate who will reflect the values of our organisation and bring energy and passion to the role.
In return we offer many benefits including flexible working, free car parking, a school committed to career professional development with SLT led behaviour systems, and the opportunity to work with a happy, committed forward thinking team.
Please refer to the job description and person specification, which gives further information. Please contact Mrs B Hulse, Head’s PA at office@chs-tkat.org if you require any further information.
