Cockburn Laurence Calvert Academy is committed to appoint a suitably qualified, dedicated and forward thinking Business Manager to play a key role in the further development of the school.

The successful candidate will be required to:

        be able to think strategically and play an active part in the Senior Leadership Team

        have excellent communication, organisational skills and be a competent people manager

        be flexible, innovative and have a commitment to excellence

        manage all matters relating to the school's finances

        be an expert in managing large budgets, negotiating contracts and maximising the   earning potential of the school to obtain best value for money

        be responsible for facilities management including Health & Safety

·                         actively seek opportunities for income generation from funding bodies and charities

        oversee school lettings

        build successful relationships with internal and external partners.
