Business Manager job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and well qualified financial expert to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a key role within the school and the successful candidate will become part of a highly committed, hard working and experienced leadership team.
This position is suitable for someone with extensive experience of finance, school budget processes and business administration within an education setting, who has the confidence to present data and high-quality reports and information to governors and senior staff to assist them in making informed decisions concerning the financial management of the school.
The Business Manager will provide overall strategic leadership and management of all aspects of finance including income generation within the school alongside responsibility for site, buildings and health and safety.
Our oversubscribed school achieved a ‘GOOD’ rating in its Ofsted inspection in February 2017 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

Great Baddow High School is a happy and successful 11-18 school benefitting from a large site and excellent specialist accommodation.
