Business Manager job summary
The Bewbush Academy is looking to appoint a full time enthusiastic and committed Business Manager with the experience, skills and initiative to join our Leadership Team.
The Business Manager will be responsible for advising on financial and HR matters with the responsibility of overseeing the grounds and building maintenance of the School buildings. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the non-teaching element of the school. These will include finance, human resources, administration, health and safety, estates and facilities management, information technology, marketing and fundraising.
The Business Manager will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of The Bewbush Academy and ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.
The Business Manager will also take a strategic role in leading, managing and inspiring non-teaching employees of the School. We are looking for a dynamic person with prior Business Management ideally in a school setting. This will also need to include at least 3+ years previous experience in financial management.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience in producing reports and communicating to key stakeholders with experience in the understanding of complex financial information, managing budgets effectively and ensuring financial propriety with organisational procedures and current legislation.
