Business Studies Teacher job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Business Studies who wants to join an excellent department. This post is suitable for an ECT who is eager to progress and bring in new ideas and opportunities for students to broaden their knowledge in this curriculum area. This post offers real opportunities for professional and career development.
The successful candidate will contribute to developing Park High into a great school by teaching a knowledge-led and challenging Business Studies curriculum, teaching highly effective sequences of lessons, and constantly reflecting on your practice.
The Business Department continues to be a very successful department. The department is small, but due to the ever-increasing popularity of the subject may grow and expand. All courses offered at all key stages are in mixed ability classes.
At KS3, students follow a diverse course offering students both a vocational and teacher-led experience, to help make the suitable option choice at KS4.
At KS4 we offer all students a vocational course OCR Cambridge National Level 1/2 in Enterprise & Marketing or Pearson Edexcel GCSE 9-1 Business. Results for both courses are consistently excellent.
A popular subject at KS5, we offer Pearson Edexcel A level Business.
