St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND.
We are seeking to recruit a Business Support Administrator. The successful candidate will work in our busy back office as part of our business and admin team. This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week over 52 weeks. This post attracts 8 weeks annual leave.
Responsibilities will include undertaking HR and finance administrative duties (managing HR databases, recruitment support, training and absence tracking, archiving, producing reports, administering transactional financial processes, such as processing invoices and monthly reconciliations). This is a fast-paced role that requires flexibility and initiative, accuracy and attention to detail.
The successful candidate must be flexible and be able to work as part of a team. Good IT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook) and effective communication skills are also required. Previous experience in a school setting would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
