Business Support Manager job summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, organised and inspiring Business Support Manager to join our successful and dynamic Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be experienced in managing a busy office and organising and leading administrative staff. You will be exceptionally organised, proactive and focused. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role is varied and includes Human Resources, marketing, income generation, project management and office management. The successful candidate will be able to confidently contribute to the whole school improvement through the design and implementation of effective systems and procedures.

Abbeyfield Primary Academy is a Sheffield school for pupils aged 3-11 years and is part of the Five Rivers Multi Academy Trust which has outcomes for children at the forefront of its vision. The academy was rated 'good' by Ofsted in its inspection in June 2019.
Five Rivers MAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a disclosure barring service check in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, so all criminal convictions must be stated, with dates. Failure to so will disqualify individuals from appointment and, if appropriate may render them liable to immediate dismissal without notice.
An individual disqualified from working with children through any of the various means available is guilty of an offence if he or she knowingly applies for or accepts any work in a regulated position i.e. classified as working with children (Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000).
Five Rivers MAT will only offer appointments if the above checks are satisfactory, and will allow no unsupervised access to children before completion of all checks.
