Business Support Office Manager job summary

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary Academy is a delightful primary school educating approximately 300 pupils in the Dalton area of Huddersfield. St Joseph’s is part of the Blessed Peter Snow Catholic Academy, we work closely together with the 14 other Catholic schools within the Trust.

Applications are invited for the post of Business Support Office Manager. Experience in working in a school setting would be an advantage. This is a permanent position.

We require an Office Manager who can demonstrate :-

A flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to use initiative in dealing with situations effectively.

Excellent communication skills

The ability to oversee the daily administration of the school office including line managing the administrative staff.

The ability to oversee the site management of the school and line manage Caretaker and the cleaning staff.

Ability to communicate well with pupils, staff, governors, parents, contractors and visitors.

The ability to manage all aspects of the school budget account on PS Financials

Knowledge of recruitment and MIS systems

A sense of humour, sympathy with children of this age, caring personality and confidential nature.
