Business Support Officer (Reception) job summary

We are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer (Receptionist) to join our 11-18 mixed comprehensive high school.

The hours of work in this post are 37 Hours a week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus 1 week). This role is being offered on a fixed term basis (from 1st September 2024 to 31st August 2025).

The school receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors. Our ideal candidate will be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. It is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.

Training will be given on the school equipment and software used to assist with the role.
