What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of King David High School wish to appoint a person with the leadership qualities and business management skills to consolidate and build upon the successes of the King David Schools and to work as part of the Leadership Group to lead the schools and community into its next stage of development.
Governors are seeking to appoint an individual who can demonstrate the following skills/experience/attributes:
Support for the Jewish faith based ethos of King David Campus
A commitment to work and liaise with members of the Jewish community
A commitment to work and liaise with members of the Campus community
Good Honours Degree or equivalent
Appropriate Business/Finance Qualifications
Evidence of recent relevant CPD
Proven successful practitioner in business, finance and estate management
The ability to inspire the whole campus community
The commitment and ability to build communication and implement a shared vision
Excellent leadership qualities and proven skills in the management of change
Excellent interpersonal skills reflected in the ability to lead, value and motivate staff
Experience of successfully planning, formulating, managing and monitoring budgets
An innovative approach to business management development
The ability to maintain and improve high standards throughout the campus
A commitment to the principles and values of an inclusive campus community
A commitment to the development of the role of ICT in business, administration, teaching and learning
A proven understanding of strategies leading to school improvement
A commitment to safeguarding and the pastoral care and personal development of students
A commitment to the development and training of staff
An up-to-date knowledge of current business thinking and key developments in business management of schools
Experience of delivering business and capital projects

We are an oversubscribed, high-achieving, mixed, voluntary aided, Jewish faith based secondary school with a comprehensive intake. Our aim is to provide excellence through education for the Jewish and Wider Community. We exist to provide a Jewish and quality academic and secular education for Jewish pupils as well as pupils from other faiths in the locality
Our aims are to:
• To provide a stimulating and enriching Jewish and secular education for all Jewish children in Liverpool and its surrounding area.
• To provide an equally stimulating and enriching curriculum for all other pupils of all faiths admitted to the school.
• To provide a quality inclusive academic education which promotes British values for all our pupils regardless of ability with the individual needs of each pupil at the heart of the Jewish ethos of the school.
The High School is situated on a large Jewish Campus. King David High School, King David Primary School, Harold House Youth and Community Centre with playing fields are all situated on one campus on Childwall Road, a major route into the city of Liverpool. Our links with the Jewish community and wider community are strong.
