Careers and Development Administrator job summary

We have an opportunity for a well organised and efficient administrator to support our Careers and Development departments (which includes our alumni network and fundraising). The role involves providing full administration support to both areas. The successful applicant will liaise with staff, parents, students (present and past) and external agencies to assist in organising and communicating programmes and events and will ensure records and databases are up to date and accurate. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent administration skills, the ability to communicate effectively and to operate in a fast-paced and varied role, and a sound knowledge of IT and Microsoft products. Familiarity with social media and Canva would be a plus. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to shape and develop the role.

Chesham Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in Buckinghamshire. There is a county-wide selection to secondary school at 11+ and there are 13 grammar schools within the county, five of which are co-educational.

Our intake is drawn from a very wide geographical area. The majority of students come from the Chiltern and South Bucks area of Buckinghamshire but we also have students who travel from Hertfordshire and from towns on the Metropolitan Line such as Harrow and Uxbridge.
