CAREERS and LEARNING RESOURCES CO-ORDINATOR (PART TIME)
Salary: Grade F Point 7 (£19,555 FTE)
24 hours per week 39 weeks per annum
Required from 1st September 2019
We are seeking to appoint a versatile individual with the capacity to:
• work with young people on an individual and small group basis to offer careers advice and guidance
• plan, manage and help co-ordinate career events
• oversee the working of the library
• promote the “Love of Reading” across the school
You should be a person who is passionate about contributing to the education and well-being of young people and who really wants to make a difference to the lives of our students. You will need to be:
• flexible in your support for all aspects of school administration;
• professional in your approach to colleagues and students;
• able to promote a positive ethos and to role model positive attributes;
• able to provide support to our support staff team;
• calm, resilient and approachable;
• able to demonstrate discretion, commitment and confidentiality and
• a strong communicator with strong IT skills
