B&NES GRADE 3 or B&NES GRADE 4 depending on qualification held
An exciting opportunity for a creative and proactive individual to join our Student Support Team as a Careers Co-ordinator. This is a permanent post from September 2025.
Having achieved the best results in the school’s history in summer 2023, followed by a visit from Ofsted in May 2024, where we were judged as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.
In the first instance the post will include:
- Administering Work Experience, Higher Education month and visits, Work Related Talent Academies
- Organising and co-ordinating Careers Events
- Providing Careers information, advice and guidance to students.
It is desirable for candidates to hold a Level 6 Diploma Career Guidance and Development qualification or have a willingness to train for the qualification.

Originally established as Buckler's Mead School in 1957, Buckler’s Mead Academy is now a successful 11- 16 academy where we pride ourselves on providing an inspiring education for all.
