Careers Coordinator job summary

Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and professional Careers Coordinator, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the academy’s careers programme, ensuring that the careers programme meets the expectations set out in the Gatsby Benchmarks.
The department is part of a well led, dynamic team, whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The appointed candidate will advise the senior leadership team on policy strategy and resources for career guidance.
The ideal candidate will have evidence of continuous professional development and hold a Level 6 Careers Guidance Qualification or willingness to undertake and gain, have knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidance on careers and be able to interpret complex qualitive and quantitative data, using analysis to inform planning and support. You will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
