Careers Coordinator job summary

We are looking to appoint someone with a passion for both young people and the world of careers.

The successful candidate will work alongside our highly experienced Careers Advisor to ensure that our students get the very best careers education information, advice and guidance (CEIAG).

In addition a full programme of training will be available to enable the appointee to be fully skilled to support our students to make informed choices about their journey from formal education to the workplace. 

We have invested significantly in our provision of CEIAG and during this academic year we were reaccredited with the Investors in Careers - CEIAG Quality Award In her report, the assessor highlighted that “students, and parents were articulate and appreciative about the many career learning opportunities they had experienced in each Key Stage, and of the support they have received for their career planning” and that a “clear understanding, commitment and energy of senior leadership and Link Governor ensures a strategic vision and the allocation of significant resources to programme delivery, including qualified Careers Advisers.”
