Careers Lead job summary
The Coleshill School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Careers Lead to further develop and lead our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) provision across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to play a key role in ensuring all students are fully supported in planning their future pathways and achieving positive destinations.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-quality careers programme that supports students from Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form. The role will focus on ensuring students have access to meaningful careers education, employer engagement and enrichment opportunities that inspire ambition and raise aspirations.
You will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, external partners and employers to deliver a careers programme aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and national guidance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold (or is working towards) a recognised CEIAG qualification
- Has experience managing or supporting careers education provision
- Is confident working with students individually and in groups to provide careers guidance
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Can build effective relationships with employers, colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers
- Is passionate about helping young people achieve their ambitions
