We are seeking a skilled and committed Careers Leader and Advisor to lead and deliver a comprehensive Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme across Years 7-13. This is a strategic and student-facing role with real impact on life chances, destinations, and long-term outcomes.
🧭 You will be joining KSA at a time where we are strengthening our work around aspiration, employability, and progression. Our careers programme is rooted in the Gatsby Benchmarks, statutory guidance, and strong local and national partnerships. Just as importantly, it is grounded in our belief that kids do well if they can, and that informed choice, guidance, and support are essential for all young people.
This role is about more than compliance. It is about creating meaningful encounters, building strong partnerships, and ensuring that every student, particularly those who may not have social capital, can access high-quality guidance and opportunity.
The role will involve:
🎓 Leading the strategic development and delivery of the school’s careers programme
🗂️ Developing and evaluating the annual careers action plan in line with Gatsby Benchmarks
👥 Providing impartial one-to-one careers guidance and follow-up planning
📢 Delivering group sessions, assemblies, workshops, and parent events
🤝 Building and sustaining partnerships with employers, FE and HE providers
🏢 Coordinating work experience, employer encounters, and careers events
📊 Tracking destinations, maintaining records, and reporting impact to leaders and governors
🛡️ Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and provider access requirements are met
