Actual salary: £19,221.95 to £20,935.78 (DOE) pro rata

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, 30 Hours a week, Term time + 1 (40 weeks per year)
Hours must be worked over 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday)

Job Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Careers Officer to join our effective, committed, and supportive school from September 2024.

The right candidate will: 

Lead the careers program at the school including planning, developing and delivering the whole school careers programme.

Build on the current careers provision and expand this to meet the needs of the school and the students.

Oversee the careers guidance of all students working within the school.

Coordinate careers guidance interviews, mock interviews, university and college information events and other careers related events.

Arrange work experience for Years 10and 12 and develop and organise work experience placements and database maintenance.
