Caretaker & Cleaner (30 hours per week) job summary
Do you have experience of working within a caretaking and / or cleaning role? Ensuring buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard? Are you proactive, calm under pressure, and with a flexible "can do" attitude?
We are looking to appoint a Caretaker & Cleaner at Kirkbymoorside County Primary School to work proactively under the direction of the Estates Manager and Headteacher. The purpose of this role is to ensure the buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard in order to support the teaching and learning within the School.
As Caretaker & Cleaner you will be responsible for opening up the school each morning and ensuring it is locked up and secure each night. You will be asked to perform maintenance, security, caretaking, and cleaning duties, thereby ensuring a pleasant, safe, and hygienic, working environment. You will also ensure compliance tasks are undertaken as required alongside the broader Ryedale Learning Trust Estates Team.
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be a point of contact for day-to-day issues on site working closely with the rest of the Estates Team and site cleaner.
