Caretaker job summary

We are recruiting an experienced Caretaker to work with senior leadership and the office to maintain the school premises to a high standard.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have experience in premises management
- Have an understanding and experience of health and safety standards
- Have a tenacious attitude and with a naturally curious nature
- Are flexible, honest, adaptable and reliable
- Have an ability to work independently, as well as alongside teachers and children
- Are passionate about providing a safe and welcoming environment for our learners

Be available for lettings following liaison with the Principal/Ops Manager
Be responsible for the security, full opening and closing of all lettings - this will include hours outside of contract that will be paid as overtime. This could include weekend working and late night lock up for lettings such as elections.

At Intake we work with children aged 3 – 11 years old, from Nursery through to Foundation Stages and Key Stages 1 and 2.
We have 14 teaching staff, 14 teaching support staff, an Inclusion Team and 3 office staff.
