What skills and experience we're looking for
St Christopher’s is looking for a Caretaker who can:
deliver excellent H&S, Caretaking and maintenance to multiple sites
You will help manage the maintenance and caretaking needs of multiple sites in Exeter, assisted by the Estates Team.
be hands on with maintenance issues
You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance issues and will need to have competency in DIY and maintenance.
work with a team
Reporting to the Site Manager you will be part of a small, passionate Estates team who work to create great learning environments in our 21 primary and infant schools.
be responsible for keeping our schools safe and compliant
You will be based in Ladysmith Infant/Junior School, but will also divide your time over two other Exeter based schools as the need arises.
take a lead and show initiative
You will be a solution focussed, values-driven individual who is able to communicate well with contractors and staff. You will have a ‘hands on’ approach to maintenance tasks and understand the level of statutory compliance required
